Warehouse Personnel

  • Reports To: Plant Manager
  • Department: Shipping & Receiving

 

Summary

Responsible for moving stock and materials manually and/or with equipment to and from production
lines, load and unload truck shipments, and record incoming/outgoing inventory.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Safely transport materials using walk-behind fork trucks or pallet jacks
  • Provide production lines with correct job materials and quantities
  • Monitor shipping dock for incoming or outgoing shipments
  • Record inventory and organize warehouse according to company procedures
  • Collaborate with production team to verify product specifications and required tasks
  • Comply with company policies and procedures giving special attention to safety regulations
  • Maintain clean work area and dispose of waste and clean-up materials properly
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
 

Skills

  • Forklift certification is required (paid, on-job certification training is available)
  • Ability to lift and maneuver objects weighing over 50 pounds
  • Warehouse experience is a plus
  • Self-motivated and dependable work behavior
  • Active learning and active listening skills
  • Ability to perform basic calculations and use measuring equipment
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Following instructions and teamwork is required
 

Education/Experience

High School Diploma or Equivalent. Prior warehouse or factory experience.
